Bee Nutritional Supplements and Health And Well Being

Your Health And You: Bee Dietary supplements

It is commonly said that bee pollen is nature’s most complete food. Usage of bee pollen by humans is lauded in the Bible, other religious books, and even ancient Egyptian and Chinese texts. Bee pollen has lots of wonderful effects, like rejuvenating the body, stimulating the glands and organs, enhancing vitality, and bringing about a longer life span. The capability of bee pollen to noticeably and consistently increase energy levels puts it on the list of many world-class athletes and those interested in enhancing and sustaining quality performance. There are also many benefits of honey.

Bee propolis, often known as Nature’s penicillin, has been in use throughout history to treat colitis, TB, mitosis, ulcers, and to boost immunity. Bee propolis destroys fungi, viruses and bacteria, even those resistant to penicillin, like staphyloccocus. It has bioflavonoids, where one is a natural antibiotic. Also, the immune system is boosted by bee propolis, specifically through the increase of phagocyte activity. Bee Propolis also inhibits prostaglandin production, thereby stopping inflammation.

Bee propolis is a resin that bees collect from plants to use in constructing hives. Bees have been practicing sterilization habits long before humans ever did. The bee hive is the most sterile place in nature. Propolis is the substance responsible for neutralizing any virus, fungi, or bacteria that comes into the hive. It’s also one of nature’s most powerful foods, propolis is a very complex mixture of resins, waxes, oils, balsams, and a small amount of pollen.

Bee propolis is a waxy substance containing phytotonizides and collected by honey bees. Immunity factors are thought to be contained in phytotonizides that once used internally stimulate it and act like a natural antibiotic giving it natural resistance to diseases. Propolis is gathered from all over the world, and maintaining the right temperature will ensure maximum consistency and freshness.

Bee propolis is an excellent supplement against bacterial infections. It helps by stimulating ‘phagocytosis’; helps white blood cells in destroying bacteria. Great results against inflammation of the mucous membranes of the mouth and the throat, dry cough, halitosis, tonsillitis, ulcers, and acne. The body’s immune system is stimulated. It is also important to have an array of healthy queen bees for sale.

Royal jelly is a substance with a complex chemical structure made by the young nurse bees as food for larva. Although it is not quite as well known as bee pollen, royal jelly equals pollen in its salutary effects.

Royal jelly is produced by young nurse bees through secretions made from the glands on top of their heads. For two to three days, the young larvae are fed royal jelly during their maturation process, while queen larvae are fed only royal jelly their whole lives. During the time the worker larvae are fed royal jelly, they develop fully; their weights multiply by around 250 times more. The queen, fed only royal jelly her whole life, reaches her maturity earlier than worker bees by 5 days; and when fully grown, she’s twice as heavy as a worker bee. Worker bee life spans last from 35-40 days; while the queen’s life span is five to six years and is very prolific. She gets fertilized once, and from then can lay up to 3,000 eggs every day during the season. As incredible as this may seem, she can lay that many eggs for 5 years.

This rich concentration of food isn’t just useful to bees. It contains remarkable amounts of proteins, lipids, glucides, vitamins, hormones, enzymes, mineral substances, and specific vital factors that act as biocatalysts in cell regeneration processes within the human body.
